Nottingham-based PR agency opens an office at The Lawn

Nottingham-based PR and marketing agency Cartwright Communications has opened an office in Lincoln.

Lincoln is the company’s second site. Cartwright employs 23 people and has plans to recruit further in Lincoln. The company was founded by Lincolnshire-born Liz Cartwright in 2006. The new office is in the recently refurbished The Lawn in Union Road.

Managing director Liz Cartwright said: “This is a brilliant location for us as we do a lot of work for clients in this part of the country, and further afield. This new opportunity forms an integral part of our expansion plans and will enable us to expand our reach. “Lincoln is a city which is seeing huge growth and inward investment. Not only are we committing to the city as the site of our second office, but we will be sponsoring the GLLEP at MIPIM for the second time next year.”

The Lincoln office will be a permanent base for several members of the Cartwright team and there will be further recruitment over the coming months, said Liz Cartwright.

Cartwright Communications was established by Liz after a successful career in journalism which started at the Lincolnshire Echo. She is also part of the Cartwright family which runs the established logistics firm Cartwright Brothers Haulage.

She added: “I am really proud to be open our second office in my home town. We have further plans to establish a third office before the end of the year and we are currently considering two possible locations.”

Nick Peel of Stokes, which owns The Lawn, said: “We are thrilled that Liz and the team have moved into The Lawn complex. We have been using Cartwright Communications for our PR and marketing for many years and this move helps to cement an already strong relationship.”

Peter Banks of Banks Long & Co brokered the deal. He said: “It is good to see another expanding company moving into Lincoln and moving into The Lawn. It is especially gratifying to welcome Liz and Cartwright, as she is a local person who is moving back into the city with her team.”
