New Jewellery Boutique Opens In Lincoln
A new jewellery boutique opened in Lincoln’s Cornhill Quarter on December 5.
Located on 23 Sincil Street next to the recently opened Co-op Foodstore, K.Fines will be selling unique and contemporary jewellery, and the store will add to the brand’s two other established locations in Nottingham city centre.
K.fines will be open 10am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 11-4pm on Sunday, and the boutique will be creating a handful of jobs.
The jewellery boutique offers a selection of both affordable and high-end pieces from local, national and international brands, all hand-picked by Midlands entrepreneur Katie Freeley.
Katie said: “We are delighted to be finally opening our doors in Lincoln’s beautiful Cornhill Quarter.
“My aim is to provide a shopping experience that is personal and pleasurable and somewhere people want to return to.
“We are so pleased to be opening in time for Christmas and we can’t wait to help shoppers find that perfect gift for friends or family.
“The selection is designed to be accessible for all budgets and tastes with pieces starting from £15 – so, we’re hoping Lincolnites will be able to find some unique Christmas gifts for loved ones (or for themselves!).
“We’re even offering a gift-wrapping service and there will also be exclusive in-store offers and special promotions available on the opening day.
“We had to delay the opening due to the second lockdown, but we are now incredibly excited to welcome the people of Lincoln to our beautiful store and introduce the brand to a new audience.
Katie continued: “There will also be key coronavirus measures in place to ensure a safe shopping environment, for both customers and employees.”
Kieshi Jewellery – the sister company to K.fines – launched in Nottingham in 2012, which was followed by the launch of K.fines earlier this year.
Katie added: “Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we’ve had a lot of success at our Nottingham stores.
“The brand, products and our collections have all been exceptionally well-received and I wanted to expand on that and branch out to Lincoln.”
“Since opening our first store Keishi Jewellery, we’ve built an amazing loyal client base, which has really helped our growth.
“We had been looking for a suitable location in Lincoln for a while; when this space became available earlier this year, we saw its potential straight away.
“Lincoln is rich in history and full of independent and high-street brands and we wanted a building that would reflect the charm and contemporary feel of k.fines.
“The historic building was also a jewellers until the early 1970’s, which makes it even more special.”
Ursula Lidbetter, Lincolnshire Co-op’s Chief Executive, said: “Sincil Street has a rich and vibrant history and this very spot was home to the well-known jewellers and watch specialist Lidgett’s many years ago, so it’s wonderful to welcome another jeweller to the location.
“We’ve been working hard to create a warm and welcoming space for visitors to the city, modernising the shops while respecting the heritage and design of the Victorian streetscape."
