Placement student building a commercial understanding

Eddisons incorporating Banks Long & Co has welcomed its latest placement student from Nottingham Trent University.

Jacob Hage has joined the Lincoln office on for the third year of a four-year BSc Honours degree course in Building Surveying.

In his year at the firm, Jacob will gain professional building consultancy & general business experience in supporting the firm’s work for a broad range of property clients.

Jacob completed the Built Environment & Civil Engineering Course at Lincoln College before embarking on his degree course at Nottingham Trent University.

His father is a structural engineer, and Jacob has been interested in pursuing a property career in being keen to understand the architecture & construction methods of built structures from an early age.

Jacob lives in Newark-on-Trent where he is involved in a range of community activities. These include as member of Newark 4As, a club for people with physical & mental disabilities, where he competes in both sprint and marathon kayaking, and also in his local Sea Scout unit where he supports young people.

The Lincoln office has a track record of offering student placement opportunities and, as Simon Bridge, Director, Eddisons incorporating Banks Long & Co, explains, it’s one of which the firm is proud.
