RECRUITER IS POISED TO CREATE MORE OF ITS OWN JOBS!
Recruitment and training specialists, who are on course for a turnover of more than £6 million, are expanding and aiming to create more jobs.
Lincoln-based chartered surveyor Banks Long & Co has leased premises in Pioneer Way, in the south of the city, to Red Recruitment 24:7 which is planning to buy its newest offices in the near future.
Red Recruitment 24:7 employs 20 people – across its sites in Scunthorpe (where the business started) - at Newland in Lincoln and in Gainsborough. The growth experienced by the multi-faceted business triggered its latest move.
Chief Executive Mark Morley said: “We are very keen to buy our new premises because we anticipate creating about 14 more jobs over the next 18 months. By this time next year, we also estimate we will have spent £675,000 on our expansion, when you take into account the inevitable infrastructure costs involved.”
The company has a diverse client base and primarily deals with the supply of temporary and permanent staff.
Red Recruitment 24:7 concentrates on three main sectors – Commercial: which deals with the supply of office professionals; Industrial: providing workers for jobs on farms, in fields and factories and Engineering: which involves anything from filling light engineering posts to handling senior engineering vacancies.
“We are really proud of the fact that, since we opened our doors 12 years ago we have helped 137,000 people, including upskilling and training them to be work ready and supporting them in finding their dream job, that in turn supports our clients to find their next superstar,” said Mark.

“We are relocating our group accounts department from Newland to Pioneer Way, handling some of our recruitment work from our new offices and setting-up a dedicated training suite, to allow us to train 40 to 60 people at a time for our clients. This is perfect for companies which wish to have their staff trained off-site,” said Mark.
“Overall, we are delighted that this move will not only give us the opportunity to create more of our own job opportunities, but make us even better equipped to serve our clients and jobseekers looking to work in the sectors which we specialise in.”
