Client: Lincolnshire Co-operative Society Ltd
Banks Long Lead: Alex Statham
The Brief: Luxury fashion retail group TFG London wanted to bring a range of stores to Lincoln’s brand-new Cornhill Quarter.
Banks Long & Co were engaged by the landlord to deliver the fit-outs on behalf of the incoming tenants, Phase 8, Whistles and Hobbs into over 4,500 sq ft of retail space within the £70m mixed-use development.
The project required three separate fit-outs, unique to each brand. Two within Exchange Square and one within the Grade II Listed Corn Exchange.
The Approach: Banks Long & Co worked closely with the TFG team to deliver the desired specifications, facilities and retail space for each of the three brands.
The works needed to be delivered to very tight timescales to achieve the tenants' target opening date. This didn’t allow for a traditional procurement process, we implemented a bespoke partnering approach with a contractor which enabled a rapid start on site but still protected the clients budget.
The Results: Banks Long & Co delivered the project within budget and on time to allow a successful handover to the tenants, enabling them to open on their target date.
