Client: Lincolnshire Co-operative Ltd.
Banks Long Lead: Daniel Garfoot
The Brief: As part of the rapidly growing Digital Sector in Lincoln, a section of the historic Thomas Parker House was transformed into Mosaic.
Mosaic is a dynamic digital hub, events and co-working space designed to accommodate a growing community of Lincoln-based tech companies.
The project aimed to internally transform the space into a 2-floored business hub in the heart of the city centre. The building was designed to accommodate high-functioning, technical businesses - and as such, the fit-out integrated desks, private offices, meeting rooms, high-speed internet, a shower room and a fully equipped kitchen.
Banks Long & Co Solution: Banks Long & Co provided Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Principal Designer services for the project, working alongside Core Architects and 3=1 interior designers to deliver the workspace.
The Results: The project started in May 2019, and Mosaic was successfully open by October 2019. Half the Mosaic building has been rented by Scholarpack, who provide digital management to schools - benefitting not just the business community, but the wider community.
