Client: Various Landowners
Banks Long Lead: Peter Banks
The Brief: Banks Long & Co were asked to market and negotiate the sale of a 7.5 acre greenfield development site on behalf of four landowners.
Located on the outskirts of the popular village of Nettleham, Lincolnshire, planning permission for a residential development of 65 units had been secured on the site.
Banks Long & Co Solution: The residential agents orchestrated a marketing process, advertising and mailing the land to developers across the country, knowing that, as a greenfield site in a popular village, it would generate significant interest.
This proved to be the case and after generating interest from across a broad scope of regional, national and strong local developers, a sale was negotiated to Truelove Property Group, a local, family-run, independent housing developer.
The Results: The size, potential and location of the site was at the heart of the marketing and advertising strategy. This plan generated an abundance of interest and numerous bids for the land.
The Residential Land agents worked with the clients to ensure the sale went to the best bidder, which was backed up by Truelove Property Group’s financial stability, credibility and track record as a performer in the sector.
Truelove is now constructing a housing development on the site, which comprises 70 plots with a selection of 3, 4 and 5-bedroom properties.
