Client: Lincoln Corn Exchange & Markets (1991) Ltd
Banks Long Lead: Fiona Peralta
The brief: Carlton Mews was introduced in Phase 5 of the Carlton Centre development, which at 140,000 square feet, is now the biggest retail and neighbourhood centre north of Lincoln city centre.
It comprises 11 apartments located above the Centre’s medical and neighbourhood units, each of which were built when the Lincoln-based retail park was developed.
Banks Long & Co Solution: After the successful construction of The Carlton Centre, for which Banks Long & Co delivered development consultancy, lettings and property management, the firm was asked to manage the 11 flats that made up Carlton Mews.
The Results: Through the firm's pro-active management of the residential element of what is one of the largest mixed-used schemes in the County, we have in conjunction with the commercial management team at Banks Long & Co, helped to maintain a high level of occupancy within this development. This has ensured a steady income stream for the Landlords from this investment since its completion, in turn, helping to support strong capital growth in the value of this element of the investment over the same timeframe.
